A perfect end to a day spent straightening up things we’re brought in our small attached barn. Pots, garden ornaments and do-dads needed to be nestled in for the winter. It was sunny but cold and still rather damp. We actually accomplished even more than we hoped and made several trips to the transfer station(also know as the dump). Much more to do, but it was a very good dent on a never ending job in an old house with limited storage space.
On the way home from the last trip to the dump we stopped at the bird food store to restock. The Pine Siskins really can eat! They are new to our feeders this year and look like they are planning to stay for the winter. When we came out of the shop the sky was beautiful so we went home via Luddam's Ford and the Indian Head River for this sunset photograph.
Leftover chicken noodle soup for supper and then some online seasonal and birthday shopping before we settle in to our Inspector Lewis series. The new season of The Crown releases tomorrow, lots to look forward to. These shows help take our minds off the continuing chaos swirling around and caused by the chump still in our White House.
For the Record,
This day came in sunny with clouds and cool damp weather. Rain tomorrow, it will really feel like November this upcoming week.
I retired from public school teaching after happily spending twenty eight years playing in Kindergarten. Now I fill my days watching cat antics, taking endless...
What a beautiful place to capture a sunset. I wonder if this is the best time as the sun has moved around now to be in the right spot. Summer either it won't line up or you have to move to another spot. I see that with my shots.
