Another photoshoot this weekend, and this lovely student plays the french horn. We had so much fun playing on the (defunct) tracks. I don't know if I edited myself out of the instrument yet. Haha. One thing I'm learning about portrait work is that there are about 2 hours for a session, but several hours finding the right shots to edit and then editing them. Whew. I'm beat, but it was a fun day!
That's a beautiful shot, beautifully composed. I was just wondering about the railway track when I read 'defunct'. My strangers' portraits are speedily taken of necessity but sometimes, not always, take more time to process.
You confused me for a moment about editing yourself out and then I realized...... the reflection. Your hard work is paying off with the caliber of your photos!
you did justice to this beautiful young lady; you showed her sweet demeanor and sincere smile. i love the lighting, i assume it's natural? there's your accidental selfie. aces, my friend.
