Mute Swans

On our walk along the shoreline today we saw lots of ducks and a few Mute Swans.
Lovely - interesting different beak colours

@judithg @sunnygreenwood @judithg At first I thought it was a Trumpeter Swan and a Mute Swan, but upon closer inspection when I downloaded my photos, the black beak has a pinkish tone, so as Anne mentioned this is a juvenile Mute Swan.

A great close up of those beautiful swans .
( We do it for centuries. In fact our country would n`t exist if there where no knotted willows. The base of the old dikes are made by braided mats of willow branches.)

Nice shot- I like how those reeds have textured the background. Well-spotted!

So beautiful. I’m guessing the one with bright beak is the male?
