Most of you know that I love, love, love cars! I follow the "Melbourne Old School Cruisers" on Facebook and I saw that they were coming to a place about 5 minutes from my house! YAY! So this is a very large group of people that have done up older cars and now drive them around and display them.......often at events where they entry fee goes to a charity - the Melbourne Kids Hospital. So who can resist seeing wonderful cars for a fabulous good cause? Took our new newish lens out.......never shot in the dark before. Had so much fun!
@gilbertwood@golftragic YES!!!!!!!!!! We might need to have a Winter session.......I'm thinking warm log fires, red wine and the occasional photo (if we have to!)
@gigiflower Love the idea of Geoff as the chauffeur :) And we definitely need to find a good spot accessible where we can chat, drink and take at least one photo :) And I'm serious!!!!!!!

@gigiflower@gilbertwood Oooo, don't know how I missed this part of the thread but will try to catch up with the various subjects. Barossa??? Yep, even though I'm drinking whites right now. Meet-up?? YEP, great idea. We're away 20-30 June on a trip to see Lake Eyre with water in it, Wilpena Pound (second time there), Coober Pedy and Uluru. Last two have been on my bucket list for yonks. If you're thinking 'local', ie Geelong region or further westwards (Otways, GOR, W'bool) early June could probably work. But if you're thinking further afield, late July would be much better for me/us. I'm not sure Les would want to come along or not, she's not obsessed with cameras/photography, and doesn't drink much either. Can't speak for her though.
