My little explorer by gilbertwood

My little explorer

This year I have my youngest grandson on Mondays and he was keen to go to Tower Hill to look for animals in the wild. His greatest excitement was when we found a shingleback lizard (we call it "stumpy") which he could get so close to that he didn't need his binoculars!
A treasure

That's a fabulous shot Denise. Is this Sulli? It must be wonderful to have him all to yourself one day a week. Fav.

Great shot Denise. I was also wondering if this was Sulli. He's looking very grown up.

@susiemc @merrelyn Yes this is Sulli - you both have done well to remember :) He's 4.6 yrs now. It's his pre-school year now so I have him one day so he can attend kinder without having to go into childcare as well.

Fav. Such a heartwarming image. The joy of childhood - I remember Max in his childhood days staring at ants crossing the yard and making sure they don't get hurt in any way.

Cute capture. Brave little boy. Not sure I would be getting that close to that lizard. :-)
