SOOC. We took our granddaughter to church with us today and let her play on the playground with the other kids afterwards. She lives in Brookline now, which is two hours away, so she hasn't been able to go to church with us as regularly as she used to go. She really enjoyed catching up with her old friends.
Thank you! Forgot to say my granddaughter is the one in pink. I miss her so much now that she lives off Cape. And my daughter is talking about moving to California, so I'm trying to get in as much time as I can while she's here.
Wait.... granddaughter????? You can't possibly be old enough to be a grandma.. you look like you are still in your 30s!!!! Not fair.. but the photo is sweet.. and you captured the meaning of friendship!!!!!
Carol, thank you for the age compliment! I'm not a grandma, I'm a Nani, and that is what happens when babies have babies times five. My daughter is the fifth generation of first daughters in our family to have a baby at the age of 20. It's not something we promote, but it does mean my granddaughter knows her great-grandmother because my grandma is still alive.
