Identify This No. 169

What is this see-through object? Cool, but obscure? What is it used for?

More about "Identify This"... http://365project.org/netkonnexion/number03/2011-05-11

Previously, in ID This No. 167... [ http://365project.org/netkonnexion/365/2012-01-17 ]

Yesterday you saw a Manfrotto tripod head - a 'Junior' gear head for precision control of your camera attitude to the object. It is extremely precise and great for macro work. It was in fact photographed upside down to make it more difficult to identify. (Please note, this is not actually the tripod!)

Honourable mentions...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Paula Brumbe - the head that holds your camera to the tripod and spins it all about Net says:-->> Correct! Excellent spotting... Yeahasssaaa!
These other intrepid people got it right too...
Anne Hansknecht; Mike Warren;
Interesting answers from...
mittens (Marilyn) - Humm, maybe something that has to do with an electrical saw of some kind? Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy! You came, you 'saw' you conquered! Tee hee!
karenann - Hmmmm... just give me the Doohickey Award! :) - Net says:-->> Definately not! You have to work for such and esteemed and sought-after award... LOL.
Nancy Holte - Well, I think I'd have to go with the tripod idea but my first thought was actually the instrument that an eye doctor uses to verify the prescriptions in glasses. Net says:-->> An interesting and plausible possibility! Especially since tripod heads enhance the photographic vision. Grin. OK, a "Doohicky Award!" Yahhhhhhhhhhhhoooo!
Alison Bailey ace
I haven't a clue! I thought at first glance it was one of those hand-cranked, meat mincing machines. I was quite disappointed when I realised it wasn't. I'd been reminiscing fondly about the tasty rissoles my Mum used to make from the leftovers of the Sunday joint of beef. Completely implausible! But kinda quaint and interesting... LOL. Fun. So - a "Doohicky Award!" Yauuuughasa!
Lora G - Part of a microscope - Net says:-->> Could be but Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
mag - If not a Microscope tripod...definitely a Telescope... Net says:-->> Wow! going for all the options there! Nice try... a "Doohicky Award!" Yajjjsa!
Paula Cook-Farkas - I think this is a Dr. Who gadget. Just how did you get this in your possession? Is it a teleportational time tripping transporter? Net says:-->> Actually no, but my photography is so skilled that I am attempting to refine an inter-dimensional Tripodification translocational view splandilizer with phase-transition power connection eephusification. LOL. I think you get a Doohicky award for getting so close to my secret plan! LOL Yeeehhhhaaaa!
bekah bell - telescope?? Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
Sue Wilde - Ah! This is obviously one of those clever contraptions which has a lot of juxtaposed angles and joints... Ha, ha, ha! Lovely try. Nice effort! LOL. I think you need to think over the name of those things-a-bobby doo-dahs!
Kathy A - Meat mincer! - Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!
Sylvie - Tripod lol ^^ Net says:-->> Close, but no! The tripod attaches to the head. But it is not a tripod. Good effort, but missed! LoL
Carole Imes - The doohickey on top of the tripod? Net says:-->> A "Doohicky Award!" Yahoooooo!
june milner - I just know it ISN@T an old fashioned mincer. Clueless. Net says:-->> Right on one count, wrong on the one that matters... LOL. Nice effort.
Well, I don't think we have had so many Doohicky awards for a long time. So some cause for celebration there! Good fun tonight. Thats it with Id This for a week. So you have got plenty of time to guess todays entry!
Thanks for coming by and making comments. I love them all! See ya!
January 19th, 2012
My first thought was a tabs. dosage thingy. Maybe this is a container for just one day's worth?
January 19th, 2012
Some sort of cartridge for something. I hate these, I swear I've seen one before, but I'm no clue what it is!
January 19th, 2012
I want to see a better (more clear) photo of this! Since I won't get that . . I'll go with pill holder. Just give me the loser of the day award now and get it over with. :)
January 19th, 2012
yeah just a pill holder.
January 19th, 2012
By golly! I think you've done it! You've made the inter-dimensional Tripodification translocational view splandilizer with phase-transition power connection eephusification! Or not... ;)
A doll house (heehee). I have no idea.
January 19th, 2012
It is a bar coded sticker attached to a clear plastic sectional holder of important things. @aj1268 come on, I just switched to an opiate based pain killer, my mind cannot even wrap around the word inter. but I like all the really big words strung together
January 19th, 2012
I'm going to say NOT a pill holder, but that's as close as I can get! :)
January 20th, 2012
@aj1268 I might chnage my viewpoint and go with Paula, or not...
January 20th, 2012
@brumbe They are his...they came from his answer to my last Identify this...I thought he might appreciate it coming back at him. @peterdegraaff
January 20th, 2012
@aj1268 now I get it
January 20th, 2012
@aj1268 @brumbe I like it more
January 20th, 2012
pill holder for daily dosages?
January 20th, 2012
I may sound ridiculous but could this be a doll's house?
January 20th, 2012
This is quite obviously a doll's house with a Snow White doll inside. I caneasily see each wee room, completely furnished.
January 20th, 2012
Bev
pill organizer
January 20th, 2012
@swilde I have to agree with Sue cuz I really have no clue! But I like it.
January 20th, 2012
It looks like a series of room plans ?
January 20th, 2012
my first thought was a pill organiser, but there are eight sections and the middle double section has a different mid section like a clip - the sort of thing that holds a fuse or bulb for a lighting set
January 20th, 2012
Well, clearly this is the 2012 version of a shadow box.
January 21st, 2012
Ultra modern doll house. I know that's not right, but what the heck? I always love getting a doohickey award ;-)))
