This is not a typo- it's really called Along Trail not "a long trail". The path runs along a beautiful coastal area called the Scarborough Wildlife Management Area which was developed by a cooperative effort under the P. R. Federal Aid to Wildlife Act and the State of Maine Fisheries and Wildlife Department. There were a lot of people using the trail and one fellow in a kayak paddling through the waters but somehow I managed to get a shot without anyone in the picture. The name Scarborough caught my attention- that's my daughter-in-law Betsy's maiden name but I'm pretty sure she has no relatives in Maine.
After two failed attempts at uploading the last of my May photos, I'm trying to upload piece by piece today. Once May is done, I hope to catch up with June tonight! Whew- thanks for being so patient with me as I caught up with a month's worth of photos.
Isn’t that always the way?! When you want a shot with no people in and they won’t go away. Great leading lines in this photo and what a fascinating name
Thank you Katy, Winghong, Dawn, Diana, Joan, Joy and Steve!
@joansmor And I am grateful I discovered that there's a map attached to each shot so I can figure out where I took it!
