I filled up the feeders with meal worms and expected the starlings to sniff them out very quickly. The only bird in the garden for ages was the tiny wren who seems so much bolder than usual. He is actually stopping long enough for me to get a shot. So cute with his pert little tail feathers. Love this bird!!
It's a bit blurry through my dirty window!! Better get cleaning!!
Can starlings sniff out mealworms....that’s why we’ve had so many then. Not as many now as we’ve hidden them under the seeds so they have to root them out....it was depressing watching them being wolfed down by those greedy birds when we are dying for a little wren to come & feed.
