Get Pushed Challenge #614
My partner this week challenged me to a landscape. The challenge as always is trying to find a viewpoint that is not blocked by all the wonderful trees that grow here. The weather hasn't been entirely cooperative either this week. I thought the sky look nice this evening with the clouds above the Blue Ridge Mountains. Table Rock (L) and Hawksbill (R) are seen above the church spire rising over the trees just to the left of center.
Beautiful light and layers. A road in the forest is also a landscape.

You found the perfect vantage point for this photo. It must be wonderful to have mountains on the horizon like this! I like the different layers of color

Great point of view. Did you have to drive far to get this shot from what looks like the top of a hill?

Well done Kathy- you found a lovely view, and kept the shot in sync with the half and half challenge with the sky and landscape. Very nice!

@haskar Thank you for the supportive comments Hannah.
@wakelys Thank you Sue.
@grammyn Thank you Katy. It's one of the few places that has some elevation and is safe to stop and walk around. It's at the side of the Agriculture Extension Office and to the right of where I'm standing there are raised gardens rented by Master Gardeners. @mcsiegle Thank you Mary. I didn't have to drive far as it is in the same town. There's a big piece of land owned by govenment agencies. The State psychiatric hospital, School for the Deaf, this Agriculture Extension Office, Vocational Rehab. and the county jail all are on the property.
@olivetreeann Thank you Ann.
