Hey, @amandal! Sitting in a not-so-swanky hotel room outside Columbus. :) Who knew we would be trying to find a hotel room on graduation weekend of THE Ohio State. Waving at you through the window!
Oooh, Columbus!! you going to go to German Village for dinner while in town? Autumn Eden lives there, should you have time for a meet up. Are you there for graduation? Or is it the stop over on the way somewhere else? Safe travels and congrats to your eldest!
@amandal Actually, bummer, the final destination is the Finger Lakes by tomorrow am, so we are just passing through, but I couldn't resist the shout-out as we are blowing through town. I enjoy your local shots, so this is a fun "drive by."
Long drive ahead! Should be fun to see some drive by scenes over the next few days...this one captures Illinois perfectly! View...nothing in the way of!
The new growth is always exciting to see. Love your POV. Farming can be such a tough way of life, but there are also so many wonderful things about life on a farm. I come from a family of farmers in Kentucky.
Lovely rolling lines, and you have even found a field which is not as flat as a pancake. We are doing a similar drive to the east coast in three weeks for my son's graduation. We have done it a number of time over the past five years, but last time as both of my kids will now be at Uni in the midwest.
