The early morning sun was blazing into my room so brightly the glare was too much to be able to see myself in the mirror to apply any makeup so I partially closed my blinds, and Maddy (who had crept upstairs to my bed in the middle of the night) couldn't resist playing peekaboo behind the blinds.
