Triplets by seattlite

Triplets

My mom, Alice, was a triplet. She's the baby getting the shot. Edith in the middle and then Helen. The triplets were born in November 1915 in the USA. This shot was probably taken in late 1916. My grandparents immigrated from Udine, Italy to the Pacific Northwest in about 1913. Thanks for stopping by.
Just so precious!

This is charming -- the girls are all so interested in the person giving the shot. A lovely reminder of the wide variety of immigrants who create our country.

How adorable they are. Amazing how unaffected your Mom seems at getting her shot. Where they identical? Did any of their children have multiple births?
March 12th, 2017
@aglennc No they were fraternal. My grandmother also had a set of fraternal twins but the girl died. None of the triplets' children had multiple births. However, my Uncle Gino's (mom's brother) daughter had twin boys.

Beautiful capture! This shot shows the importance of photography and why we must pass on our photos with a narrative. I do worry that now we live in the digital world how many of our family histories will disappear. We must remember to print and tell stories!

It's like copying the same person - they are so look-alike. Great memories of the past. Grandma must have had a lot on her hands to raise them.
