over the course of this month, i have taken a good thousand photographs of the CN tower. some of them are useless, blurry, out of context and/or perspective, and when i have the time (or when the back-up external drive becomes too full, whichever comes first), i will have to delete and/or remove them.
it is weird weather time again in toronto so i thought i'd put together a collage of some of the CN tower photos that didn't make it as photo of the day during the last 24 days.
i have only the 'paint' program to work with in my laptop and so i just pasted the photos on to the frame hanging in my living room and on the book i am holding. i do not claim any proprietary copyrights to the book and i am just using it as a prop for this shot. and even though it's a crappy weather, i went picnik-ing to add the frames and the name tag.
oy, is the sofa considered a chair? okay, i know, i'm pushing it. fine!
yay! i passed! i'm now seriously thinking of having that photo printed and replace the frank panabaker print that's in the frame (so what if it's one of the rare copies - i'm sure there were thousands of those rare copies!). hehehe. thank you, sean.
just when I think you can't outdo the day before -- !! I love the cleverness and creativity of this -- and the shots in the photo and on the cover of your magazine are wonderful, too!! The one in the picture frame looks like you could be looking out the window at our friend, The Tower! Outstanding ! I bow to your creativity!!
@steeler - let me guess, howard. you are so relaxed your funny bone's shining through. thank you! @slang - okay, you convinced me. i'm inquiring first thing monday morning. @cscecil - thank you, CS. please, you're making me blush! :-) @roth - thank you, sue. @sunnygreenwood - thank you.
thank you, ladies and gentlemen. i'm so flattered by your comments. these ideas come to me last minute and i am so glad so far they're working.
@silverdraggin - i could make another collage, but i thought this would be different; required more work from me but i got through it! :-) @laurentye - hi, lauren. thank you.
Quiet time hey? Seems like you've been busy Ms Summer! I love this photo/these photos - very creative and very stylish. You look poised and relaxed. Yep, this is one of my faves of the 'series' so far! Excepting the bench seats one of course, cos that's where we're going to sit one day and chat!
@danig - hahahaha! you're right, DG, been busy - busy running back and forth between the sofa and the camera for about an hour last night before i got this one shot right. and dang it! i forgot to take off the magnifying glasses off my face. although it did make me look like i was really reading :-) and thank you very much for the compliments. i am so looking forward to sitting on those benches with you and chat until the mosquitoes have eaten us whole.
