The name of the temple in Kinosaki, the hot spring resort town, is appropriately named "Hot Spring Temple," in Japanese. These two beautiful stone figures were just beckoning to be brought home to sit in my back garden, but alas, they were too heavy, so this photo will just have to remind me of there gentle, warm, calming smiles.
