Dogwood Tree Window by glimpses

Dogwood Tree Window

I learned to see the beauty of empty spaces from an internationally renown metal sculptor named David Hayes. (now deceased) I was privilaged enough to meet him,and be commissioned by him to photograph 20 of his works for a museum catalogue. It was an experience I shall treasure all my days. He was a gentle and cordial man, and ever so humble. I am including his website should you be interested, http://www.davidhayes.com/ Thanks to him, I have an added perspective to the way I look at my surroundings. Wonderful!
Thanks for keeping up w/ me; I hope to keep up w/ you all soon.:):)
Love the colours.

@onewing You're the best Babs! Thanks for taking the time to read the narrative, AND check the link. It was a privilege to meet and work for this gentle, humble man. In trying to photograph abstract metal sculpture (not really "my cup of tea,") I quickly saw that the best angles to shoot his work were not all about the piece of sculpture, but the empty spaces they created. I will be forever indebted to him for the added dimension to the way I now look at my natural surroundings. All my best, Les
