The Hawk Returns

My wife saw this Red-shouldered Hawk land in a tree at the edge of our property. There are a pair that have a nest in a small stand of woods on the other side of the road. They like this side where they hunt the farmer's field for rodents small groundhogs and unsuspecting squirrels.

This is the sort of arrangement you might see with a stuffed bird! I'm glad this regal bird is not stuffed! Excellent capture!
