As he frequently does, a friend and fellow docent at the Military Aviation Museum brought his Taylorcraft L-2 Grasshopper to the Museum for an educational program with some scouts. They learn about flight, flying and aircraft while spending time (in this case, an overnight) with real, flyable pieces of history. Dave's Grasshopper is always a favorite with the kids, as is Dave.
In this picture, Dave has completed his duties and is on his way back to his home airport to tuck in the Grasshopper for a well-earned rest.
